Our Lady of Guadalupe celebrations at the Cathedral of the Madeleine

The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of the Americas, Secondary Patroness of the Diocese of Salt Lake City, will be celebrated Dec. 10, 8:30 p.m. – midnight at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City. The schedule follows.

7:30 p.m. – Rosary and reenactment of the Blessed Virgin’s appearance to Juan Diego; with students in the cathedral’s religious education program

8:30 p.m. – Mariachi Sol de Jalisco

9:30 p.m. – Outdoor procession

10 p.m. – Vigil with the Cathedral Choir and orchestra

11 p.m. – Mass in Spanish   with the participation of the Cathedral Spanish Choir and orchestra

Midnight – Las Mananitas with Aztec dancers
