New face of Justice! Joshua Scott Madrigal, son of James and Betty Madrigal of Saint Anthony of Padua Parish, will graduate from Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Mass. with a juris doctor degree in international law. He plans to practice in Washington, D.C. and Europe.

Say a Prayer! Deacon Willie Folkes of Saint George Parish and Saint Paul Catholic Center in Hurricane, has been having some health issues. Please keep him in your prayers.

Wedding Bells! Michelle Solomon and Edward Szetela, parishioners of Saint Joseph the Worker, were married on May 14, at Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church in Bethlehem, Penn. Although they were married in Pennsylvania, they will continue living in West Jordan.

Parlez-vous Francais! Students at Judge Memorial CHS participated in The American Association of Teachers of French’s annual National French Contest. Placing in the top 80 percentile was freshman Minh Nguyen, who was awarded the Certificat d’Honneur. Finishing in the top 50 percentile and receiving the Certificat de Reussite were French I students Nicole Gist, Alexandra Graham, Ashton Lee and Laisa Leroy; French II: Zoe McDonald; French II: Hannah Brodke, Katherine Grace Johnson and Emily Murnin.

LAX Midwest! Natalie Warner, a senior at Judge Memorial CHS, will play women’s soccer for St. Mary’s College.
