TOOELE — Patricia L. Vanderhoof, 74, died May 8, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was a member of St. Marguerite Parish, Tooele. Vanderhoof was born April 12, 1934, in Perrydale, Ore. She married Jae S. Vanderhoof and they had three children. She was a faithful member of her church and volunteered for many activities, as well as at the Children’s Justice Center. She is known as a very kind and thoughtful person. She is survived by her children, Rick (Barbara) Vanderhoof, Roy, Ron (Brenda) Vanderhoof, Salt Lake City, and Sheri (Joe) Nelson, Rush Valley; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Marguerite Catholic Church.
