Patrick Adolph Vigil

Cedar City – Patrick Adolph Vigil, 93, passed away on April 26, 2015.

Vigil was born Feb. 9, 1922 in El Paso, Texas to Patrick and Magdalena Vigil. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps, fighting fires in Northern California. He also served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Pacific during World War II. 

He married Patricia June Calise in Norwalk, Calif. on April 8, 1961. He retired from ALCOA after 32 years. He was a member of Christ the King Parish and of the Cedar City Knights of Columbus. 

Vigil was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, and his sisters, Magdalena and Viola. 

He is survived by sisters Eloise and Beatrice, brothers James and Richard, son Christopher and granddaughters.  

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church.
