The Utah winners of the annual Knights of Columbus Substance Abuse Awareness poster contest have been announced. The contest was for two age groups: 8–11 and 12-14. Each age group competed in two categories: drug awareness and alcohol awareness. Posters were required to be 11" x 17." The winners in the drug awareness category are Perri Cook, Blessed Sacrament Parish in Sandy and Dax McFarland, Holy Family Parish in Ogden. The winners in the alcohol awareness category are Zachary Mecham and Vincent Nguyen, both from St. Francis Xavier Parish in Kearns.
