The Diocese of Salt Lake City joined in prayer with Catholic throughout the United States on Sept. 13 in marking the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children. About 75 people gathered at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Salt Lake City to pray the rosary, led by Father Lourduraj Gally Gregory, pastor of Saint Patrick Parish. The Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City, who joined the prayer, said he was very pleased with the turnout. “My thought was how wonderful it is that people come forward to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. It is a great gift that they are making their voices heard because the unborn cannot. I’m really grateful for the presence of all of those here today.” IC photo/Marie Mischel
