We concluded our Clergy Spring Convocation with a dinner to honor our jubilarians for this year. We thanked God for Monsignors Victor Bonnell, Monsignor Michael Winterer and Father John Hart, each of whom celebrate 50 years of priesthood this year. We also honored Father Alexis De Avila for 25 years of priestly service. That’s 175 years of dedicated service to the Church! These exemplary priests shared some of their thoughts with us and we all had a chance to affirm them and thank them for all they have done, with God’s grace, through their ordained ministry. Please remember to keep them in your prayers and to pray that young men will answer Christ’s call to follow in their footsteps. To all our jubilarians we say, “Ad multos annos!”
