SALT LAKE CITY — Robert (Bob) Hiller, 91, died May 22 at home with his wife, Anna, and his children at his side.

Born in Tacoma, Wash., Bob had a 42-year career with Standard Oil/Chevron. He also served as a Merchant Marine aboard Standard Oil tankers during World War II and sailed to places such as New Zealand, Australia, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Anna, and their three children, Ronald, Jeanne Godwin (Richard) John (Nan), eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren with three more great-grandchildren on the way. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Olaf’s Catholic Church.
