Robyn LaRee Sandoval Olschesky, 58, passed away at home surrounded by her family on January 4, 2018 in West Valley City. She was born August 27, 1959 in Salt Lake City. Her parents were Samuel C. Sandoval and Vera LaRee Jensen Sandoval. She was the wife of Robert Olschesky; they shared many happy years together.

Robyn graduated from Kearns High School in 1977 and went on to have a career in the grocery business, working for Albertsons grocery store, along the way making some great lifelong friends. Robyn and Bob enjoyed several trips to Europe, including their favorite stays in England. They also enjoyed many trips to the upper Midwest, getting to meet Bob’s family and friends. Robyn had a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews; she always made each one of them feel like they were her favorite.

Robyn was a woman of faith; she attended the Cathedral of the Madeleine. She was a devoted wife, a proud mom, a wonderful daughter, aunt and sister. Most of all she enjoyed being a grandmother to her special granddaughter Zoey. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Olschesky; son Greg (Jasmine) Jones and granddaughter (Angel Baby Girl) Zoey Jones; siblings Steven (Julie) Sandoval, Chris (Debbie) Sandoval, Michael Sandoval, Larry (Shelly) Sandoval, Colleen Sandoval Salaz, and David (Chasity) Sandoval. She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel C. Sandoval, son Justin Jones and niece Kristy Sandoval.

The funeral Mass was celebrated January 11, 2018 at the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Interment was at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at www.starksfuneral.com.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and a special thanks to Becky at Quality Hospice.
