Rose W. Burton

Salt lake city — Rose W. Burton, 98, died Aug. 26, 2014. 

Burton was born in Rochester, N.Y. on Sept. 9, 1915 to John N. and Mary McDonald Wurzer. She married George Burton in 1952 in Washington D.C., and worked for Inter American Statistical Institute in that city. She was a faithful member of the Catholic Church and attended Mass regularly.

Burton is survived by husband George; daughters Leslie Ann Burton, Jean Marie Burton and Barbara Rose Burton; and sister Emma Butcher.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint James the Just Catholic Church.
