TOOELE — Rudy A. Valdez, 58, passed away on Sept. 15, 2011. Valdez was born July 12, 1953 in Olathe, Colo. to Jose and Mary Valdez, the youngest of 10 children. He married Lea LaRose on March 11, 1988 in Salt Lake City, and they were inseparable from that point forward. Valdez is survived by his wife, Lea; sons Rudy (Krista) Valdez, Eli (Dana) Valdez; daughter Trudy (Ricardo); stepchildren Gina (Nate) Mull, Maria Stevens, Heather (Mitchell) Altaha; Bart (Jacque); 19 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lordes Chacon, Julia Nelson and many nieces and nephews. Valdez was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Ramona; brothers Joe, Leon, Fred, Richard, Toby and Ray, and his grandson. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
