Saint George Parish altar servers recognized

SAINT GEORGE — Knights of Columbus Council 10733 treated the Saint George Parish altar servers to pizza, games and golf at Fiesta Fun on Aug. 2. Twenty-three English and Spanish servers enjoyed the morning together, using their tokens to play games, a round of miniature golf and a lot of pizza. Grand Knight George D’Apuzzo greeted the children, thanked them for their stewardship and told them what a good example they are to the community. Each server also received a certificate for his or her service.
