Saint Joseph students visit Cathedral

Students from Saint Joseph High School in Ogden toured the Cathedral of the Madeleine on March 2, followed by a Mass celebrated by the Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City. In his homily, Bishop Wester said people need to live as they truly are, not wear masks and pretend to be what they’re not. Lent is meant to prepare Christians to renew our baptismal promises and our commitment to Christ, Bishop Wester said, and this is done through fasting, prayer and almsgiving.
