The 26th Annual Leprechaun Lope 10K/5K/2 mile fun run was held March 14 in Salt Lake City, beginning at the Capitol and ending in Memory Grove. Almost 1,000 runners and walkers from the Salt Lake area and the Intermountain West participated in the race, where runners, walkers and even dogs dressed in green and fun costumes to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. This year’s race coincided with National Pie Day, and in recognition of this, on 03/14/15 at 9:26 a.m. pie was served to participants after the race, courtesy of Village Inn. All proceeds from the race benefitted Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School.
