Each year the Diocese of Salt Lake City observes the Filipino tradition of Simbang Gabi, a novena of Masses that celebrates Christmas and honors the Blessed Virgin Mary. 
Different parishes host the Masses, which begin at 7 p.m. The schedule follows.
Dec. 15 –  St. Thomas More, 3015 Creek Road, Sandy
Dec. 16 – The Cathedral of the Madeleine, 331 E South Temple, SLC
Dec. 17 – St. Therese of the Child Jesus, 624 W Lennox St., Midvale
Dec. 18 – St. Mary, 4050 South 3900 West, Ogden
Dec. 19 – St. Lawrence, 5 South 100 West, Heber
Dec. 20 – Our Lady of Guadalupe, 715 West 300 North, SLC
Dec. 21 – St. Patrick, 1058 West 400 South, SLC
Dec. 22 – St. John the Baptist, 300 E 11800 South, Draper
Dec. 23 – Blessed Sacrament, 975 South 1700 East, Sandy
