Sister Lorraine Masters, OLVM

Sister Lorraine Masters, OLVM, a resident of Victory Noll, died May 15, 2015, at Holy Family Health Care Center at Victory Noll, Huntington, Ind. She was 91.
Sr. Lorraine was born in Humboldt, S.D. on July 13, 1923, to Claude Masters and Susan Menth Masters. She entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on Oct. 26, 1945, and made first vows on Aug. 5, 1948. 
She served in the missions in California, Utah, New Mexico and South Dakota, and Bolivia in South America. In 2004, Sr. Lorraine retired to Victory Noll.
She is survived by nieces and nephews and her Victory Noll sisters with whom she shared life and community for 70 years. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Masters and Loren Masters; and two sisters, Hazel Hipschman and Vera Masters. 
A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated May 19 in the Victory Noll Memorial Chapel in Huntington, Ind., followed by burial in the Victory Noll Cemetery.
