St. George Advent retreat

Dominican Father Paul Philibert gave the Advent retreat themed "Disciples Welcoming their Master: Advent Once Again," at Saint George Parish in St. George on Dec. 8. More than 80 people attended the retreat. Fr. Paul is the author of many books and recently was named the Reverend Robert J. Randall Professor in Christian Culture at Providence College. He also is a member of the Congar Institute team that works with the Diocese of Salt Lake City in pastoral and spiritual formation for lay church leaders. Because of the weather, the Intermountain Catholic was unable to cover the event.
