St. Joseph Elementary students pray the rosary
Friday, Nov. 10, 2017
In honor of the month of October being dedicated to the rosary, St. Joseph Elementary School’s kindergarten, first- and second-grade classes prayed a decade of the rosary together. For the rosary, they gathered outside and surrounded the Blessed Mother Mary’s Grotto. The first-graders were presented with rosaries that had been handmade and blessed by the grandparents of their teacher, Becki Wright. “My grandma, Debbie K., has been making rosaries longer than I’ve been alive, and my grandpa, Deacon Butch K., blessed them for the first-graders,” Ms. Wright said.
