MIDVALE — Stuart G. Hembury, 66, died March 26, 2011 from health problems. He was a member of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Parish. Hembury was born Dec. 22, 1944, in Murray, Utah to George and Donna Hembury. He attended Hillcrest High School. He married the love of his life, LaVern Vicchrilli, on Feb. 19, 1966. He worked and retired from Utah Power and Light/Pacific Corp. He loved his family and was a friend to everyone he met. He loved to travel and spend time at his home in Manila, Utah. He was on the water, fishing, every chance he could. It was recommended that when talking to him you stand back because he couldn’t talk without using his hands. Hembury is survived by his wife, LaVern; daughter, Shelly (J.P.) Damron; son, Shane (Stacey) Hembury; grandchildren, Alec, Krystal, Rachael and Brendan; mother, Donna (Owen) Evans; brother, Scott (Jan); stepbrothers, Mike (Cherrie) Evans; Dave (Donna) Evans; John (Nanette) Evans; special cousin, Michael Hembury; many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was held at Saint Therese Catholic Church. Interment was in the Midvale City Cemetery.
