MAGNA — Sue Pasternak, 92, passed away Jan. 10, 2014. Pasternak was born March 21, 1921, in Caramanico Terme, Italy to Angela and Nick Caruso. She married Ted J. Pasternak in Saint Anthony Catholic Church on June 16, 1940 in Joliet, Ill. She was a devout Catholic, and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Magna for more than 60 years. Pasternak is survived by daughters Betty (Bill) Klekas and Susanne (Rudy) Janusz, and son Joseph (Victoria) Pasternak. Pasternak was preceded in death by her husband, Ted; twin daughters; grandson Grieg; brother Walter (Cecilia) Pasternak; sisters Mary "Rena" (George) Kunke, Eugenia (Stanley) Lasinis and Annie (late Vincent Dolasin and Nicholas) Ceriello, Helen (Joe) Jachemczak; her parents; and father- and mother-in-law, Joseph and Mary Pasternak. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
