SALT LAKE CITY — Suzie Padjen, 51, passed away Sept. 8, 2011 from complications with breast cancer.

Padjen was born Dec. 7, 1959 to Kay A. Reid and Colleen Janney Reid. She graduated from Judge Memorial High School. In 1986 she married Mark Padjen, and together they raised two wonderful children, Lindsey and Thomas. Padjen worked as a teacher’s aide at St. Francis Xavier School up until her battle with cancer forced her away from this loving community.

Padjen is survived by her husband, Mark; her children, Lindsey and Thomas, her sisters Margaret Erspamer, Sheila Hrdlicka, Mary Garrett and Julie Scott, her brothers, Bert (Janice) Reid and John (Amber) Reid and nephews and nieces.

Preceded in death by her parents and her brothers in law, Paul, Dave and Jeff.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
