Jane Whittle, a seventh-grade student at St. Marguerite Catholic School, placed second with a time of 12:55 in the Tooele County Regional Cross Country Meet held at Porter Way Park in Stansbury. The first-place winner, Macie Gustan from Tooele Junior High School, had a time of 12:43. Whittle trained hard throughout the season to improve her times and performance. Out of 54 participants, at every meet she consistently placed in the top 10.
