Utah National Guard honors Msgr. Fitzgerald + Enlarge

Monsignor J. Terrence Fitzgerald, who recently retired as vicar general for the Diocese of Salt Lake City, was among those presented with a Bronze Minuteman Award by the Utah National Guard Honorary Colonels Corps of Utah at the 50th annual awards dinner on June 15. The organization promotes good will and positive relations between the National Guard and local communities. Adjutant General Maj. Gen. Brian Tarbet and Honorary Colonels Corps Commander, retired, Brig. Gen. E.J. "Jake" Garn, also presented awards to the Utah Patriot Guard Riders, Ruby J. Price, Greg Adamson, Command Sgt. Maj. James Sproul (posthumously), and Honorary Colonel Fred P. Lampropoulos for their individual devoted service to and leadership among the citizens of Utah.
