Three retired priests of the diocese live in apartments at St. Joseph Villa, which remodeled its physical therapy room and the floor where patients live while receiving therapy. The new interior decorating is "a little softer, a little warmer, it makes it a little more inviting and less hospital-like," Church said. "While we certainly are a medical facility, we want to make sure that when they come here they’re as comfortable as they possibly can be." The villa also renovated its reception area; additional remodeling is planned during the upcoming year.
