Deputy Governor Adelina Mwau of Makueni County, Kenya (third from right) toured Juan Diego Catholic High School Aug. 9 and attended Mass at Saint John the Baptist Parish with the Kasue family. Last year, Esther Kasue (JDCHS Class of ’15) and her siblings Emily (Class of ’18) and Nick (Class of ’19) were part of a humanitarian project in which local students raised funds to build a well in Kenya, which is the home country of the Kasue’s parents. After the funds were raised, the Kasue family traveled to Kenya to build a well in Makueni County, Kenya. During their visit, Deputy Governor Mwau welcomed them into her home.
