Holy Family Catholic Church in Ogden has gained four new stained-glass windows, thanks to donations from parishioners. The windows, in the south transept, depict Saint John XXIII; the parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Anne and Saint Joachim; Saint John Paul II; and Saint Michael the Archangel. Shown from left in front of the lower two windows are Kathy and Ron Thornburg, Bishop Oscar A. Solis, Christine Jacobson and Michael and Denny Joseph. Kathy Thornburg’s mother, the late Rosemary Aurelia Smith, bequeathed the St. John XXIII and St. John Paul II windows. Christine Jacobson donated the window depicting Saint Anne and Saint Joachim; and the Dennys contributed the St. Michael window. The artwork was designed by Columbian artist Leandro Velasco; the glass was executed by Rambusch Design Studios.
