Pilgrimage to Italy/Silcily SALT LAKE CITY — Msgr. Terence Moore, pastor of Saint John the Baptist parish, Draper, will lead a 13-day pilgrimage to Italy and Sicily beginning Nov. 9, 2009. The pilgrimage will begin in Palermo, capital of Sicily. Stops will include Messina, Taormina, Mount Etna. Then on to Italy with visits to Sorrento, Pompeii, and Assisi. Catholic Day at Lagoon FARMINGTON — Knights of Columbus Council 602 will sponsor the 101st All State Catholic Day at Lagoon Sunday July 12, beginning at 11 a.m. in the Canyon Terrace. Mass will be celebrated at noon. Council 602 will sell their famous Colosimo sausage sandwiches, soda, and beer. There will be games for kids of all ages, gifts, a pie eating contest, nail pounding contest, and more. The Ride Passport will cost $27.50 plus tax, and the Entrance Passports are free.
