BOUNTIFUL — Three Boy Scouts from Bountiful Troop 220 earned their Eagle Scout Awards Feb. 8 at Saint Olaf Parish. The three scouts were the 98th, 99th and 100th scouts honored in their troop on the National Scouts of America 100th anniversary.
They are Alec Walker and Kendrick Nafus, 8th-graders at Our Lady of Lourdes School and Randall Lansbarkis, a 9th-grader at Millcreek Junior High School in Bountiful.
Walker collected more than 150 coats for the Road Home homeless Shelter. Nafus made 40 homework kits that included basic school supplies and distributed them to students at Our Lady of Lourdes, Kearns-St. Ann and St. Francis Xavier schools. Lansbarkis had scouts, friends and family help him harvest produce at the Botanical Garden in Kaysville and donated the produce to the Bountiful food bank.
