Meet the Artists Reception — for artists in the Cathedral of the Madeleine’s Pilgrims of Hope exhibit will be Saturday, Feb. 15, 6-8 p.m. at the cathedral, 309 E. South Temple, SLC.  

Relic Coming to Utah — A first-class relic of Blessed Michael McGivney will be in Utah Feb. 15-16 through the Knights of Columbus. On Saturday, FEb. 15, weather permitting, there will be a procession starting at 10 a.m. from St. Catherine of Siena Newman Center to St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Veneration of the relic at St Ambrose Catholic Church will be 3-5 p.m., followed by Mass. On Sunday, Feb. 16 the Knights of Columbus will host the relic at the 10 AM Mass at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Veneration will be from 9 a.m. until the Mass, then following Mass till noon. 

Holy Hour — Sunday, Feb. 16, 3 p.m. at the Carmelite chapel, 5714 S. Holladay Blvd., SLC. Exposition, the rosary, a short homily and Benediction. All are welcome.

Art Exhibit — The Cathedral of the Madeleine’s Pilgrims of Hope exhibit featuring works by the late Pilar Pobil and other local artists will be Sunday, Feb. 16, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the cathedral, 309 E. South Temple, SLC.

Pastoral Center Closed — The Diocese of Salt Lake City Pastoral Center will be closed Monday, Feb. 17, for Presidents’ Day. It will reopen Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 8:30 a.m.

Pre-Lenten Parish Mission — on Hope and the Incarnation, Monday-Wednesday, Feb. 24-26, 7-8:30 p.m. each evening at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven. Presented by Father Thomas Czeck, OFM Conv., MI National Spiritual Assistant. All are welcome. An additional Mass followed by a potluck reception will occur on Thursday, Feb. 27, for MI members and friends.

Youth Rally — Saturday, March 1, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1040 West 400 South, SLC. For ages 13-18. The rally will focus on the lives of St. Maria Goretti and Jose Sanchez del Rio and address the canonization of Blessed Carlo Acutis scheduled for April 27. Sponsored by the diocesan Blessed Carlo Acutis Apostolate and the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries.

Shoe Donations Needed — Catholic Community Services of Utah’s Weigand Resource Center is in need of men’s sneakers and boots for clients experiencing homelessness. Donations can be dropped off at 437 West 200 South, SLC weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Other high-priority needs include toothpaste, shampoo and bar soap.

Catholic Community Services of Utah’s St. Martha’s Baby Project — is in need of the following donations: newborn to three-month outfits, onesies, pajamas, baby shampoo, baby lotion, baby sunscreen, burp cloths, bibs, large reusable bags and baby quilts.
