40 Years as a Deacon

Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Parish recognized Deacon Stan Stott for his 40 years as a deacon in the Diocese of Salt Lake City. Deacon Stott was ordained on Dec. 26, 1976; he has served at the parishes of Saint Patrick, Saint Francis of Assisi and Blessed Sacrament, as well as St. Therese, where he grew up. In recognition of his service, St. Therese Parish presented him with a papal blessing during the morning Mass on Christmas Day.
