Advent Vespers and Procession — Sunday, Dec. 1, 5 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City Join the Cathedral Choir in candlelight as it moves to the east through the cathedral with chants, carols, choral music and readings.
Communal Penance Service — Monday, Dec. 2, 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Bishop Oscar A. Solis and several priests of the diocese will begin the service with a reflective Liturgy of the Word followed by individual confession and absolution. Confessions will be available in English, Spanish and Filipino.

This hour-long concert will feature cathedral organist Gabriele Terrone and the brass musicians of the Utah Symphony performing sacred Advent. Free and open to the public.
