All Saints' Day/All Souls' Day

The Solemnity of All Saints is Sunday, Nov. 1. Masses at the Cathedral of the Madeleine will be celebrated at the regular times: 5 p.m. Saturday vigil and Sunday at 8:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. in English; and 3 p.m. in Spanish. 

The cathedral will commemorate the faithful departed on All Souls’ Day, Monday, Nov. 2. Masses in English will be at 8 a.m., noon with the Madeleine Choir School, and 6 p.m. with the Cathedral Choir assisting. Mass in Spanish will be at 8 p.m. with the Cathedral Spanish Choir assisting. A Shrine of the Dead will be set up in the cathedral throughout November.

Altar flowers at the cathedral for the feasts of All Saints and All Souls are provided through donations in memory of deceased loved ones. To make a donation, place it in an envelope clearly marked “flowers,” include the name of the person the flowers are in memory of, and the name of the person requesting the flowers.
