SALT LAKE CITY — Anita C. McDonough Deppe, 47, died April 25, of a heart attack in home.

Deppe was born May 18, 1959, in Salt Lake City to John V. and Elizabeth J. McDonough, the fifth of six daughters. She married Robert F. Deppe Aug. 15, 1980. They spent more than 30 years together until Robert died of cancer only two weeks prior to Deppe’s death. She was a loving and compassionate person, whose greatest joy was her family, friends, and her grandson Caden James. She loved crafts and made her own gifts for Christmas and birthdays.

She is survived by her parents; son, Jeremy (Camille) Deppe; stepson, Colby (Amy) Burleson; sisters, Lynn A. McDonough (Doug Pope), Shannon McDonough Skiles; Mikell McDonough (Herb Lizalde), Margaret (Coleman) Nay; and Jacqueline M. McDonough (Tony Leger); grandchildren, Caden J. Deppe and Elle L. Burleson; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends, Baby and Shasta.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Committal was in Bountiful City Cemetery.
