CARBONVILLE — Ann Perla Peczuh, 94, passed away peacefully April 18, 2011 with her granddaughter Stephanie at her side.

She was born Jan. 1, 1917 in Aspen, Colo., to John and Amelia Milijavac Perla.

She married Matthew P. Peczuh Nov. 28, 1939 at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Price.

Peczuh was a devout member of the Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Sewing Guild. One of her favorite pastimes was crocheting quilts and afghans. She was full of energy and her Slovenian heritage.

She is survived by her daughter and son, Mary Peczuh, Matt J. (Sharon) Peczuh, all of Price, 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister Rose Koran, Carbonville; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew P. Peczuh, daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Joe Peczuh; sisters, Mary Peczuh, Molly Skiff, Eva Perla, and brothers John, Frank, and Joe Perla.

A funeral Mass was held at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church.
