Anna Marie Mancuso

MESQUITE, Nev. — Anna Marie (Gottone) Mancuso, 111, passed away, Jan. 30, 2015. 

Mancuso was born Feb. 18, 1903 in Flushing, Long Island, N.Y. to Antone and Rosemarie Gottone. She married her husband, Frank Gregory Mancuso, on June 20, 1926. A large party was given in her honor, along with her picture on the marquee along Interstate 15. 

She has been honored by the mayor of Mesquite, Nev. and Governor Gary Herbert of Utah as one of the oldest registered citizens.

Mancuso is survived by daughter Rosemarie Morelli; grandson Michael Emery (Jayme) Morelli; granddaughter Carla Morelli-Saurdiff; great-grandson Michael Chad Morelli; great-granddaughter  Kortney Morelli (Tim) Maddock; great-grandson Austin Saurdiff; and great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. 

Mancuso was preceded in death by husband Frank; son Frank Jr., daughter Virginia Bell; her parents;  seven siblings; son-in-law Carl Morelli; grandson Greg Morelli; and great-grandson Alex Saurdiff.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Grand Junction, CO.
