SALT LAKE CITY — Annamaria Wright Salisbury, 83, passed away Sept. 21, 2012. Salisbury was born Sept. 12, 1929 in Rome, Italy. She married Brigadier General Norman J. Salisbury. She had previously been married to Lawrence S. Wright, who had also been a brigadier general in the U.S. Army. She opened a pasta and bakery shop in Logan, La Spiga, in 1980. After moving to Salt Lake City she worked for Gastronomy, Inc. Salisbury is survived by her husband, Norman J. Salisbury; four children: Linda D. (Dario) Pignedoli, Gary L. Wright, Alexandro M. (Toni) Wright, and Gina L. (Kevin) Hill; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister Liliana Stracener; stepchildren Norman Palmer (C.J.) Salisbury, Jan S. (Gilberto) Urroz, and Lisa S. (Buddy) Shaw; five step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at the Cathedral of the Madeleine.
