Summer Classes — Beginning Monday, June 6, Judge Memorial CHS will offer algebra, study skills for high school, culinary arts, driver’s training, metal sculpture, intro to physical conditioning, the modern American superhero (English class), ACT Prep Course, and the summer theater production of High School Musical (Junior Version). Car Wash — Saturday, June 11, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Saint Patrick Church, 1058 West 400 South, SLC. Exterior wash for $5. Proceeds help the parish’s youth ministry program.

Ladies of Charity Barbecue — Sunday, June 12 from 12:30-2 p.m. at St. Olaf Parish’s McNamara Center, 1800 S. Orchard Drive, Bountiful. Tickets $10/per person, $25/family. Food, fun, raffle and silent auction. Bid farewell to Sister Cecilia Van Zant, Daughter of Charity, who is moving to California. Proceeds benefit those in need and the Center of Hope Food Pantry.

Days of Yore Festival – June 17-19: Friday, 6-10 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m.-10 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Saint Thomas More Parish, 3015 E. Creek Road, Sandy. Games, wine tasting, beer garden, bake sale, vendors, entertainment, 5K, skills basketball tournament. Sunday Father’s Day brunch after all Masses. 

Parish Festival — Saturday, June 18, beginning at 10 a.m. at Saint Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 4914 South 2200 West, Taylorsville. kids’ games, a car show, a boutique, free document shredding and ethnic food. A social hour begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing to live music by  Muraco until 8:30. Tickets, available at the door, are adults/$12, children 12 and under/$6. All are welcome.

St. Joseph CHS BBQ — The St. Joseph CHS Alumni Association will sponsor its 13th annual BBQ Friday, June 24 at the school, 1790 Lake St., Ogden. Social hour begins at 6 p.m.; BBQ at 7. All are invited.  Cost: $10, cash or check only. Refreshments available. Reservations not required.

ASL Mass — Fr. Shawn Carey, Office of the Deaf Apostolate from the Archdiocese of Boston, will offer Masses, retreats and discussions with children and adults June 25-26 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish’s Holy Family Hall, 1375 Spring Lane, Holladay. Retirement celebration — for Monsignor Robert Servatius. Sunday, June 26, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., at Blessed Sacrament School, 1745 East 9800 South, Sandy. Mass will be celebrated at 5 p.m.; refreshments in the school gym follow.

Stewardship curriculum — in English and Spanish for grades K-8 has been posted on the Diocese of Salt Lake City website, www.dioslc.org. There are nine lesson plans, to be implemented one per month, lasting 10-15 minutes each.
