Carmelite fundraiser — Saturday, July 14 6 p.m., at the monastery, 5714 Holladay Blvd., Holladay. The fundraiser is hosted by Knights of Columbus Council 602, to benefit the Carmelite nuns. Carmelite Feast Day — Monday, July 16, at 7 p.m. an evening Mass will be offered in the Carmelite monastery Chapel on the sisters’ special patronal feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The Mass will be preceded by the public recitation of the rosary. All are invited to join the sisters to celebrate the special feast honoring Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Dine to Donate — Wednesday, July 18, from 5-9 p.m. at Javier’s Mexican Food Restaurant, 4874 Harrison Blvd. South Ogden. Mention Utah Special Olympics or Knights of Columbus when you pay your dinner bill, and Javier will donate 20percent of your dinner total to Utah Special Olympics.
