 “The Pathophysiology of Jesus’ Crucifixion” Presentation — Tuesday, April 15, 7-8:30 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Newman Center, 170 S. University St., SLC. This event is free and open to the public.

Living Stations of the Cross — Tuesday, April 15 and Wednesday, April 16 on the Skaggs Catholic Campus, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. Presented by St. John the Baptist Catholic Middle School eighth-grade students, the stations will begin at 11 a.m. and run every 10 minutes outside the Bell Tower Circle. If there is inclement weather, the stations will be presented in the JDCHS auxiliary gym.

Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper — Thursday, April 17. Check your parish for Mass times. The Mass of the Lord’s Supper is not to begin before 4 p.m. and is the only Mass to be celebrated on that day. The faithful are encouraged to adore the Blessed Sacrament for a suitable period during the night.

Friday of the Passion of the Lord (Good Friday) — Friday, April 18. Check your parish for Mass times.

Pastoral Center Closed — The Diocese of Salt Lake City Pastoral Center will be closed Friday, April 18, for Good Friday. It will reopen Monday, April 21, at 8:30 a.m.

Good Friday Choral Meditation — Friday, April 18, 3 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. “Stabat Mater” by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi with the cathedral choir featuring the choristers of The Madeleine Choir School.

Easter Vigil — Saturday, April 19. Check your parish for Mass times. The Most Reverend Oscar A. Solis, Bishop of Salt Lake City, has determined the Easter Vigil should not be celebrated before 9:15 p.m. in the Diocese of Salt Lake City. If there is a pastoral need to start earlier, contact the Very Reverend John Evans, vicar general.

Holy Saturday Walk With Christ — Saturday, April 19, beginning at 7 a.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church, 380 South 200 East, Brigham City. The 21-mile walk with a full-sized cross will include Stations of the Cross; the procession will end at Santa Ana Mission, 600 North 760 West, Tremonton. Mass at Our Lady of the Snows — The final Mass of the ski season will be at 10 a.m. on Easter Sunday, April 20, at Our Lady of the Snows Chapel in Alta. Fr. John Norman will preside. The chapel is located directly across from the Alta Lodge and below the Alta City offices.

Shoe Donations Needed — Catholic Community Services of Utah’s Weigand Resource Center is in need of men’s sneakers and boots for clients experiencing homelessness. Donations can be dropped off at 437 West 200 South, SLC weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Other high-priority needs include toothpaste, shampoo and bar soap.

Catholic Community Services of Utah’s St. Martha’s Baby Project is in need of the following donations: newborn to three-month outfits, onesies, pajamas, baby shampoo, baby lotion, baby sunscreen, burp cloths, bibs, large reusable bags and baby quilts. Patriotic Rosary — Members of St. George Catholic Parish pray a patriotic rosary twice a month using booklets purchased from Caritas of Birmingham. St. George invites all parishes in the Diocese of Salt Lake City to pray the patriotic rosary.
