Annual Yard Sale — Aug. 18-20 and Aug. 25-27 will be the Saint Peter Parish Annual Yard Sale at 634 North 600 East, American Fork.

Parish Wide Yard Sale — Saturday, Aug. 20, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th St., Ogden. The Knights of Columbus will be selling food.

Pilgrimage with Father Rob — A presentation for a trip to see Rome, Israel and Egypt with Father Robert Moriarty and Don Shafer, Ph.D. will be at Saint Francis Xavier Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns on Sunday, Aug. 21, at 6 p.m. Cost is $2,599 for Rome and Israel, $999 more for the Egypt extension. New Parent Orientation — Friday, Aug. 26 5:30 p.m. at Judge Memorial Catholic High School, 650 South 1100 East, SLC, in the school cafeteria. First chance for returning parents to welcome new parents and answer questions and at 7 p.m. gridiron kick-off as the Judge Bulldogs take on the Ogden Tigers. St. Francis Xavier Parish Festival — Saturday, Aug. 27, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns. Beginning at 8 a.m. will be a farmer’s market and garage sale, at 9 a.m. there will be a children’s fun run, festival activities from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and a dance at 8 p.m., which will cost $10 per person.

Fall Festival and 5K Run — Saturday, Aug. 27, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 28, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Parish and School, 9800 South 1700 East, Sandy. Admission is free. Pot Luck Farewell Luncheon — Sunday, Aug. 28 for Msgr. Bill Bonczewski, pastor of Saint Jude Maronite Catholic Church, who is being is reassigned to West Virginia. The luncheon will be at the church, 4900 Wasatch St., Murray, following the 10:30 a.m. Divine Liturgy.

Back to School Night — Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Judge Memorial Catholic High School, 650 South 1100 East, SLC. Follow your student’s schedule, meet their student’s teachers, and receive classroom policies and grading criteria from teachers. St. Joseph the Worker 12th annual Golf Tournament — Saturday Sept. 10, 8 a.m. shotgun start at Murray Parkway Golf Course, 6345 S. Murray Parkway Ave., Murray. Harvest Festival and Carnival — Saturday, Sept. 10, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., at Saint Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven. Starting at 9 a.m. with a pancake breakfast, the event will include games and entertainment featuring musicians and dancers from the surrounding areas, a farmer’s market and local business vendors. Bulldog Scramble Golf Tourney — Sunday, Sept. 11 with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. at Mountain Dell golf course, Interstate 80 Exit 134, SLC. Entry fee is $110 per person or $400 for a foursome, includes green fee, cart, and lunch.
