40-Hour Adoration — St. Olaf Parish, 1800 S. Orchard Dr., Bountiful, will host a 40-hour Adoration beginning Sunday, March 30 at 12:30 p.m. and going through Benediction on Monday, March 31 at 5:30 p.m., then on Tuesday, April 1 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Stations of the Cross — Friday, April 4, 5:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 670 South 1100 East, SLC. All are welcome.

Stations of the Cross — Friday, April 4, 6 p.m. at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 1800 S. Orchard Dr., Bountiful, followed by a free meatless soup dinner in the McNamara Center. All are welcome.

Fish Fry — Friday, April 4, 5:30 to 7 p.m.  at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 E. Creek Road, Cottonwood Heights followed by Stations of the Cross. Adults $17; children $7, 5 years and under free.

Fish Fry — Friday, April 4 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 5 S. Main St., Helper in the church basement. Take out: 5:30-7 p.m.; Dine in: 6-7 p.m. $10 large plate, $7 small. Proceeds will go to support a seminarian.

Fish Fry — Friday, April 4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Madeleine’s Scanlan Hall, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. Cost: $14/adults, $10/children.

Dinner and Games — Friday, April 4, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., dinner at 5:30 and games start at 6:30 p.m. Dinner: $23, includes 18 games; must be 18 to attend.

Sacred Heart of Jesus and Healing Mass  — Friday, April 4, 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 506 24th St., Ogden. Following Mass, you are invited for lunch and a meeting with the Promoters of the League of the Sacred Heart.

Bishop’s Retreat for the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults — Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. RSVP to the Office of Worship, Arthur.Becerra@dioslc.org.

Healing Mass — featuring a relic of the True Cross, an authenticated copy of the Shroud of Turin from the Basilica in Turin, and the relics of several saints. This event will provide an opportunity for the faithful to receive plenary indulgences, participate in a Healing Mass, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and venerate the relics. Saturday, April 5, at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, 210 N. Carbon Ave., Price, beginning with a rosary at 8:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 9 a.m. Confession will be available until noon. Following the Mass, the replica of the Shroud of Turin may be viewed and the relic of the True Cross venerated at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 201 Center St., East Carbon.

First Saturday Devotion — Saturday, April 5, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1700 East 9800 South, Sandy, beginning with Mass at 9 a.m., followed by rosary, pot-luck breakfast, guest speaker and discussion.

Filipino Mass — Sunday, April 6, 3:30 p.m.  at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1065 East 700 South, SLC. Father Ryan T. Jimenez, RCJ will preside. All are invited.

Holy Hour — Sunday, April 6, 4 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns. Exposition, rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Everyone is welcome.

40 Days for Life Speaker — Tuesday, April 8, 6:30 p.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 2315 Redondo Ave., SLC. Ramona Trevino, director of outreach for 40 Days for Life, will tell the story of the pro-life organization. Free.

Chrism Mass — Thursday, April 10, 6 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. All are welcome.

Relics of the Passion Presentation — Thursday, April 10, 6 p.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7405 S. Redwood Rd., West Jordan. This 90-minute program is a meditational experience supported with Eucharistic Exposition, music and prayer culminating in relic veneration.

Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion — Sunday, April 13. Check your parish for Mass times.

Rosary and Benediction — answering Pope Francis call to recognize and pray for immigrants’ rights of dignity. 5 p.m. on Palm Sunday, April 13, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 670 South 1100 East, SLC. A community potluck supper will follow. All are welcome.

Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper — Thursday, April 17. Check your parish for Mass times. The Mass of the Lord’s Supper is not to begin before 4 p.m. and is the only Mass to be celebrated on that day. The faithful are encouraged to adore the Blessed Sacrament for a suitable period during the night.

Friday of the Passion of the Lord (Good Friday) — Friday, April 18. Check your parish for Mass times.

Pastoral Center Closed — The Diocese of Salt Lake City Pastoral Center will be closed Friday, April 18, for Good Friday. It will reopen Monday, April 21, at 8:30 a.m.

Good Friday Choral Meditation — Friday, April 18, 3 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. “Stabat Mater” by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi with the cathedral choir featuring the choristers of The Madeleine Choir School.

Easter Vigil — Saturday, April 19. Check your parish for Mass times. The Most Reverend Oscar A. Solis, Bishop of Salt Lake City, has determined the Easter Vigil should not be celebrated before 9:15 p.m. in the Diocese of Salt Lake City. If there is a pastoral need to start earlier, contact the Very Reverend John Evans, vicar general.

Holy Saturday Walk With Christ — Saturday, April 19, beginning at 7 a.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church, 380 South 200 East, Brigham City. The 21-mile walk with a full-sized cross will include Stations of the Cross; the procession will end at Santa Ana Mission, 600 North 760 West, Tremonton. Water, rides and refreshments will be available along the way. For information, call Jose Martinez, 435-225- 3627.

Mass at Our Lady of the Snows — The final Mass of the ski season will be at 10 a.m. on Easter Sunday, April 20, at Our Lady of the Snows Chapel in Alta. Fr. John Norman will preside. The chapel is located directly across from the Alta Lodge and below the Alta City offices.

Liturgy of the Hours — first and third Fridays of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the St. Joseph’s Villa chapel, 415 E. Bishop Federal Lane, SLC. With the Secular Discalced Carmelites. All are welcome.
