Saint Olaf Oktoberfest — Saturday, Sept. 29, 1 – 9:30 p.m. at Saint Olaf Parish, 1800 S. Orchard Drive, Bountiful. The festival will include a variety of ethnic foods, a beer and wine garden, a marketplace, kids’ games, pony rides, bingo and a car show. Admission is free. Only cash and checks will be accepted.

Judge Memorial CHS Girls’ Soccer Fundraiser — Tuesday, Oct. 2 with the JV game at 5 p.m. and the Varsity game at 7 p.m. versus Juan Diego CHS at McCarthey Stadium, 650 South 1100 East, SLC. Cost $5 for entrance and $5 deal meal - hamburger, chips, cookie and drink. Also, the regular concession stand will be open. All proceeds go to the Demi Candelaria Scholarship.

Nocturnal Adoration for Vocations — Friday, Oct. 5, at 9 p.m. through Saturday, Oct. 6, 8 a.m. Mass/service at Saint Mary Parish, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven.

Judge Memorial CHS Homecoming Celebration — Friday, Oct. 5 at the McCarthey Stadium, 650 South 1100 East, SLC. Enjoy a light pre-game spaghetti dinner followed by the Judge Memorial Catholic High School football game and a special halftime presentation. Bingo Night — Saturday, Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes School gym, 1065 East 700 South, SLC. Cost is $15 for a baked ziti and garlic bread dinner and games. Free child care provided; dinner for children, $3.

Level II Training for Extraordinary Ministers of Communion — Saturday, Oct. 6, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Pastoral Center, 27 C St., SLC. Level II training for those who minister Communion to the sick and shut-in. Pre-registration is required and there is a $7 workshop fee to cover books and materials. Saint Jude Dinner-Dance Celebration — Saturday, Oct. 6 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Saint Vincent de Paul Parish’s Holy Family Hall, 1375 E. Spring Lane, SLC. National Life Chain — Sunday Oct. 7, from 1-2 p.m., on the corner of State Street and 10600 South, Sandy. Sponsored by the Utah Knights of Columbus. Stand with thousands of pro-lifers throughout the United States. You’ll be a light in a darkened world as you help put an end to abortion through prayer.

International Rosary March — Sunday, Oct. 7, at 1 p.m. at Saint Ann Church, 450 East 2100 South, SLC. The Rosary March is timed to correspond with others reciting the rosary around the world. Judge Boys’ Basketball Tryouts (Grades 6-8) — Sunday, Oct. 7 in the Judge Memorial CHS gymnasium, 650 South 1100 East, SLC. 6th grade tryout from 12-2 p.m.; 7th and 8th grade, 2-4 p.m. These tryouts are for three teams that will compete in local AAU tournaments from October through March.
