Blue Mass — Sunday, Feb. 19, 8:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. The Mass will honor members of law enforcement and public safety. A complimentary breakfast sponsored by the Knights of Columbus will follow; freewill donations will be accepted, with all proceeds donated to the UPOA Fallen Officer Trail Ride Scholarship Fund.

Pastoral Center Closed — Monday, Feb. 20 for Presidents’ Day. The Pastoral Center will reopen Tuesday, Feb. 21.

Cathedral of the Madeleine Anniversary — on Tuesday Feb. 21, the anniversary of the 1993 rededication of the Cathedral of the Madeleine will be celebrated. There will be a solemnity at the cathedral, 309 E. South Temple, SLC, and a feast throughout the diocese.

Fundraiser for Orphans — Saturday, Feb. 25, The Judge Memorial Interact Club is hosting a banquet and auction to raise funds for Orphan Relief and Rescue. Mardi Gras Madness — Saturday, Feb. 25, 6-10 p.m. at the Evans Black Box Theater on the Saint Joseph CHS campus, 1790 Lake St., Ogden. Hosted by the Booster Association. All proceeds support the school’s athletics program. Cost: $22.50. You must be 21 or older to attend.

Eccles Organ Festival — Friday, March 10, 4 p.m. at the University of Utah’s Libby Gardner Concert Hall, 1375 Presidents Circle, SLC. Master class with Alan Morrison of the Curtis Institute of Music (Philadelphia); Westminster Choir College of Rider University. Diocesan Rite of Election & Call to Continuing Conversion — Saturday, March 11,1:30 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, for the Eastern, Northern and Southwestern deaneries.

Lenten Retreat —Saturday, March 11, 2 p.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 7405 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan. Presenter Deacon Sunday Espinoza will speak on using the 40 days of Lent as personal preparation for Holy Week and Easter. Free; all are welcome.

Volunteers Needed — at St. Vincent de Paul’s Dining Hall, 437 West 200 South, SLC. They offer lunch and dinner every day at 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. for anyone in need and almost 95 percent of the meal services rely on volunteers. They need 10 volunteers from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 20, 30 and 31. Some of the services the volunteers will be needed for are serving clients at assigned food or drink area, and cleaning up or bussing tables as needed, and other areas of the soup kitchen as needed. Our Lady of the Snows Chapel — The celebration of the Mass has resumed at our Lady of the Snows Chapel in Alta. Masses will take place each Sunday at 5 p.m. throughout the ski season. For information, call 801-272-9216.
