Pastoral Center Closed — The Diocese of Salt Lake City Pastoral Center will be closed Thursday, July 24, for Pioneer Day. It will reopen Friday, July 25, at 8:30 a.m.

Shoe Donations Needed — Catholic Community Services of Utah’s Weigand Resource Center is in need of men’s sneakers and boots for clients experiencing homelessness. Donations can be dropped off at 437 West 200 South, SLC weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Other high-priority needs include toothpaste, shampoo and bar soap.

Utah Catholic Conference — with the theme “The Road of Hope,” will be a day of faith formation for adults and youth. Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Skaggs Catholic Center, 300 East 11800 South, Draper.

Bishop’s Dinner — Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the Grand America Hotel, 555 Main St., SLC. Social hour starts at 6 p.m.; dinner at 7 p.m. Keynote speaker will be Archbishop George L. Thomas of Las Vegas.
