The Nativity of St. John the Baptist — falls on Saturday, June 24. The Saturday Vigil Mass celebrated should be that of the Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time. For Masses outside the usual parish schedule, the Mass of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist may be used.

Silver Rose — to encourage prayer for the sanctity of human life, the Knights of Columbus’ Silver Rose will be at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Parish, 624 S. Allen St., Midvale, on Tuesday, June 27. Check with the parish for times.

Holy Hour for Vocations — Thursday, June 29, 5-6 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South, SLC. For diocesan seminarians to be ordained to the priesthood and diaconate, and for vocations to the priesthood in the Diocese of Salt Lake City.  The Holy Hour will be attended by all of the diocesan seminarians, guests and friends, and include Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Evening Prayer (Vespers).

Ordinations to the Priesthood and Diaconate — Friday, June 30, 6 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. All are welcome but seating will be limited.

First Saturday Devotion — Saturday, July 1, beginning with 9 a.m. Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9757 South 1700 East, Sandy, followed by potluck breakfast in the church hall and discussion of the First Saturday devotion. All are welcome.

First Friday Mass and Rosary — Friday, July 7, 11 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 45 West 5215 South, Kearns. All are welcome.

Parish Dinner and Games — Friday July 7, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns. Dinner: $23, includes 18 games. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., dinner at 5:30 and games start at 6:30.

Diocesan Eucharistic Rally & Mass — All Catholics in the State of Utah are invited to gather and celebrate the Diocesan Eucharistic Rally and Mass on Sunday, July 9 at the Mountain America Expo Center, 9575 State St., Sandy. The rally will begin at 9 a.m. with presentations, family and youth activities, and opportunities for Adoration and Confession. The rally will conclude with Mass at 2 p.m. with Bishop Oscar A. Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel — Sunday, July 16; Mass at the Carmelite monastery, 5714 Holladay Blvd., SLC will be at 3 p.m. with Fr. Michael Augustine Amabisco, OP presiding. Followed by enrollment of the brown scapular. Rosary at 2:30 p.m. All are welcome. 

Feast of St. Mary Magdalene — The Cathedral of the Madeleine will celebrate the feast of the patron of the diocese and the cathedral on Saturday, July 22 with a bilingual Mass at 6 p.m. Following Mass, a plaque will be unveiled in the plaza honoring Irene Sweeney, for whom the plaza will be named.

Catholic Day at Lagoon — Sunday, July 30. Information to come about discount passes and program.
