WEST VALLEY CITY — Audre Howard Eastwold died Aug. 4, from ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish. Eastwold was born March 31, 1929, to Osanah Z. Joubert and William C. Howard in Glendive, Mont. She was raised in Wibaux, Mont. She graduated in 1950 from Holy Rosary Nursing School in Miles City, Mont. While in training, she met Martin Eastwold. They were married Sept. 12, 1950, and moved to Tacoma, Wash. They settled in West Valley City in 1966. She attended Westminster College and graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing. Eastwold worked at Pioneer Valley Hospital for 23 years. She was a cradle Catholic and devoted to her faith. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Committal was in Valley View Memorial Park.
