PRICE — Blanche Elizabeth "Betty" Rice Kobe, 90, died July 25. She was a member of Notre Dame de Lourdes Parish. Kobe was born April 30, 1918, to Oscar and Blanche Rice in Montana, where she was raised. She graduated from St. Mary’s College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, and where she met her husband of 67 years, Jack E. Kobe. After World War II, the G.I. bill brought them to Logan and eventually to Price, where they have 03made their home since 1954. She is survived by her husband, Jack; children, Mary Kathleen, Linda (Dan), Jack (Denise), David (Deborah), Maureen (Charles); 19 grandchildren; and their spouses; and 10 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church.
