Bishop confirms eighth grade class in Orem

Bishop John C. Wester of the Diocese of Salt Lake City addresses the eighth-graders at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Orem, who are receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Bishop Wester thanked them for taking this important step and welcomed them fully into the Catholic Church. Bishop Wester said he would like to see the confirmandi throughout the diocese take away from their experience a real sense they are fully initiated into the church. He said they are fully participating members now and can use the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit to serve the church and the wider community.
