SANDY — The Community of Caring Club at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School held its first meeting on Oct. 4. Club advisors Linda Reich and Shelly Luna were excited to have 30 students join this year. This club is open to all students in pre-kindergarten through 8th grade and will meet twice a month. Club members are dedicated to promoting the five core values of respect, responsibility, trust, family and caring on the campus and in the community. Throughout the year, these students will organize and promote many activities geared toward the betterment of Blessed Sacrament Catholic School. In the next two weeks, students will be making a virtue chain that will be displayed in the hallway and will begin the ‘Be a Bucket Filler, Not a Bucket Dipper’ campaign. The Community of Caring Club is in its second year at the school and has been very successful in promoting positive character behavior.
