Bulldog tennis: Undefeated season

SALT LAKE CITY — The Bulldog girls tennis team under Coach Lani Wilcox finished their 2009 regular season undefeated and were named the Region XI champs, then went on to claim second place at the state championship. The team was led by senior Mikelle Mancini, the 2009 UHSAA state champion first singles; and freshman Emily Murnin, UHSAA state champion third singles. UHSAA state runner-up in first doubles was the team of senior Claire Hollingsworth and junior Chloe Ropner.
